Dr. LeRoux and his family first moved to the Richmond area in 1992. Due in large part to Dr. LeRoux’s dedication to the practice, FVCR was named “The Best” in Richmond optometry by The Richmond Times Dispatch in 2015 & 2016. Dr. LeRoux loves his job most when he sees a child for their first eye exam, and they are brought by a parent, who also saw Dr LeRoux for their first exam when they were a kid.

Patricia Daylor, O.D.
Dr. Daylor was born and raised in the Richmond area. She loves the Glen Allen neighborhood where she lives with her husband and son. Dr. Daylor enjoys yearly trips with close friends and family, including an annual visit to New York City every year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
Dr. Daylor’s favorite things:

Tracy Poling, O.D.
Dr. Poling has lived in the Richmond area since 1992. When not at work, Dr. Poling keeps up with her four boys who run triathlons, compete in cross country meets, and play baseball. Dr. Poling dreams of the day she can sail the shores of the Caribbean—or maybe just take a nap! Dr. Poling treasures the moment she administered an inaugural eye exam to a student with severe attention and learning disabilities. Appropriate eye care helped this patient achieve social, emotional, and scholastic wellness.

Jeff Michaels, O.D.
Dr. Michaels has lived in the Richmond area since 1999. When not with his work family, Dr. Michaels can be found coaching his kids’ sports teams or advocating for health care reforms. Dr. Michaels was honored as Virginia’s optometrist of the year and received the President’s Award by the American Optometric Association for helping to increase the quality of eye and vision care to patients worldwide. One of Dr. Michaels’ favorite optometry moments occurred on a missions trip when he prescribed a vision and hearing impaired teen her first pair of glasses, allowing her to see clearly for the first time.

Stephanie Matsko, O.D.
Dr. Matsko has lived in the Richmond area since she was 8 years old. She first worked at FVCR when she was 15, and after receiving her training from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, returned to her vision care family at FVCR. When not in Richmond, Dr. Matsko loves visiting Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Matsko’s favorite things:
- Exercising and watching golf and football
- Spending time with her nieces
